Fricy Mango Chamoy Popsicles Tajin (Printable)

Ripe mango puree swirled with chamoy and dusted in Tajin for a tangy, spicy-sweet frozen snack.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Mango Base

01 - 3 large ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (about 3 cups)
02 - 1/4 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
03 - 2 tablespoons agave syrup or honey

→ Chamoy Swirl

04 - 1/3 cup chamoy sauce (store-bought or homemade)

→ Coating

05 - 1 tablespoon Tajin seasoning (plus extra for serving, optional)

# How-To Steps:

01 - In a blender, combine diced mango, lime juice, and agave syrup. Blend until completely smooth and no chunks remain.
02 - Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more agave if desired.
03 - Pour a spoonful of chamoy sauce into each popsicle mold, swirling it around to coat the sides lightly.
04 - Pour the mango purée into the molds, filling them about halfway, then drizzle in a little more chamoy. Use a skewer or knife to gently swirl the chamoy through the mango mixture for a marbled effect.
05 - Fill the molds the rest of the way with remaining mango purée.
06 - Sprinkle Tajin seasoning over the tops of the molds before inserting popsicle sticks.
07 - Freeze for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) until solid.
08 - To serve, briefly run the molds under warm water to release the popsicles. Optionally, dust with extra Tajin seasoning.

# Expert Hints:

01 -
  • Mixing chamoy and Tajin into mango popsicles gives you a chilly treat that is a fiesta of sweet, spicy, and tangy in every bite.
  • They are so simple to make and guaranteed to win over both kids and grownups at any summer gathering.
02 -
  • If the mango isn’t completely smooth in the blender, tiny bits freeze rock solid and make the pops weirdly crunchy.
  • Chamoy can sometimes clump at the bottom if you swirl it too aggressively—just a gentle twist is plenty for a pretty effect.
03 -
  • Always taste your mangoes before blending since underripe fruit makes the pops too tart.
  • Letting the chamoy come to room temperature before swirling helps it ribbon more smoothly and avoids clumps.
